Does anyone know of a website that lists different medications and their equivalent names in other countries?
I remember seeing a website like this that was a great resource, and now I can't seem to find it.
I am looking for the Mexican equivalent to either nortriptyline or amitriptyline.
thanks |

Nortriptyline: nortriptilina
Amitriptyline: amitriptilina.
Adepsique contains (among other active ingredients) amitriptyline, diazepam (valium), and phenothiazine; and Anapsique is just amitriptyline. |

this may sound dorky, but look up the brand name in English Wikipedia. You'll get the chemical name, which will be very close to what it is in Spanish. If youre really lucky, there will be a link to the equivalent page in Spanish WP. |

Try WalMart, they can get drugs shipped from the US, store to store, if they don't carry them here in Mexico, and you don't have to deal with the hassle. |

This is what I used, it's not a website of drug names in different countries but specifically for Mexico: www.facmed.unam.mx. To make it work for you, do a search with the active ingredient name in Spanish (found from Wikipedia as thelmadatter described) and add this to the search: site:facmed.unam.mx |
