I know there is an abundance of private language schools in Guadalajara. Not sure if you want to go that route. VLC was looking for someone not too long ago - you may want to try them. |

i have the same shameless plug to most requests for job info: look into ITESM if you're qualified. now that i got that out of the way, I want to highjack this thread and ask what people think about guadalajara, in general. how is it as a place to live, in terms of costs, culture, traffic, pollution, crime, boredom, etc. i have heard more widely varying opinions on this city than any other in mexico and have no idea what it is really like.
or maybe all of them are true... |

About Guadalajara - It is a big sprawling city. There is a ton of things to do there and the downtown core is always bustling with activity. There are a lot of foreigners in Guad. I read a report recently that estimated 70,000 Americans/Canadians/others are residing in Guad. For some this would be a selling point, for me it's a non-issue. There are still over 6 million locals with whom you can associate. |
