I know there is an abundance of private language schools in Guadalajara. Not sure if you want to go that route. VLC was looking for someone not too long ago - you may want to try them.

i have the same shameless plug to most requests for job info: look into ITESM if you're qualified. now that i got that out of the way, I want to highjack this thread and ask what people think about guadalajara, in general. how is it as a place to live, in terms of costs, culture, traffic, pollution, crime, boredom, etc. i have heard more widely varying opinions on this city than any other in mexico and have no idea what it is really like.

or maybe all of them are true...

About Guadalajara - It is a big sprawling city. There is a ton of things to do there and the downtown core is always bustling with activity. There are a lot of foreigners in Guad. I read a report recently that estimated 70,000 Americans/Canadians/others are residing in Guad. For some this would be a selling point, for me it's a non-issue. There are still over 6 million locals with whom you can associate.
