I know a girl called "If". She chose the name because she says it gives her the feeling of limitless possibilities. |

Up to this point, my favorite is - "Nympho". I guess she has limitless possibilities as well! She said she liked how it sounded = ummmph!
I must type, she changed her 'name' to Cara soon after she discovered what the word meant. 'If' only I had gotten there sooner and wasn't a good man. |

I've had plenty of (both male and female) Apples, but only ONE "Chinese Watermelon".
I currently work with a girl named Hebe, pronounced "Happy"; and a girl with the unfortunate name "Fox". And then there are Lauren and Loter (male, twins).
Most of them, though, just have ridiculously repetitive names, such as Coco, Cici, Cindy, John, or Bill. I think the fact that we get five Bills in one class represents the worst choice in naming yet--at least bizarre names are distinctive! |

A young female student I met in 2004 was named "Whitey." A more recent encounter with a girl who introduced herself as "Lucifer." |

Just off the top of my head (am sure I'll remember more after I've posted!):
Dicaprio, Newton, Jerby, Bonson, Hitler (male)
Heman, Whiffy, Hitler, Kinky (female). Kinky was still in infants school and her parents saddled her with the name - I only hope for her sake that it gets changed by the time she starts using facebook!
I no longer bat an eyelid at weather or food names |

Sexy - skinny 19 year old boy. I said to him it was a bit strange, and he said it was a play on his Chinese name. |

I'd say Pig River is pretty special. They're awesome names. Poor people, hippies and famous folks from the west could get some great ideas from this thread. |
