Gotta love Archie Bunker!!

Archie Bunker: I know all about your woman's troubles there, Edith, but when I had the hernia that time, I didn't make you wear the truss. If you're gonna have the change of life, you gotta do it right now. I'm gonna give you just 30 seconds. Now c'mon and change.
Edith Bunker: Can I finish my soup first?

SCTV had some great sketches.

one that sticks in my mind is the "Liverboat" . they had a parody of the song Riverboat

"Liverboat, liverboat: loaded with liver" SCTV

also, another from Friends:

Someone says to Chandler, "you can't handle it" and Chandler responds with

"handle it? handle is the middle part of my first name"

and one more, "Chandler Bing" ...bing! (sound of a small bell)

Actually, it should have been..."you, the expendable new security guy who's about to die an agonizing death......prepare to beam down." In 1960's TV, there were 2 positions of certain death....1) Being a new security guy on the Enterprise, and 2) Any girl that was dumb enough to get into a relationship with Little Joe, Hoss or Adam. Those Cartwright boys were the kiss of death.

[from The Golden Girls]

Dorothy: We were just having a good time!

Blanche: Dorothy, there is a thin line between "having a good time" and being a total wanton $lut. I should know, my toes have turned on that line for years.
