|
|
The other day, I was given an application package by my employer to fill out, and it gave me a checklist of things I need to bring/send to my nearest Korean consulate for a Visa application. It had the usual stuff like a notarized degree, transcripts, passport/photo, etc.
However, I called the Korean consulate the other day, and they told me that for a Visa I needed four things, because I'm going physically to the consulate:
1. Passport Photo
2. A Confirmation Number
3. Passport
4. Cash
First of all, what is a "confirmation number?" They said it is a number given by Korean immigration. But, that doesn't help me. Two, has anyone else did this process in person? I'm getting mixed messages here, thanks for your help. |

OK... you send the first list of stuff to your employer/recruiter.
They send it all off to the immigration office and get your visa confirmation number.
Your employer/recruiter sends you the visa confirmation number via e-mail and then you make the trip to the embassy/consulate to get your visa. |
