Hey, you Mods and bods,
how come, when I want to search for some info. on Dave's, rather than posting and potentially wasting other people's time...
how come when I want to use the search function for my own research, and after I've read all the postings on one thread,
how come I can't just go back to the total list for that search and pick another thread and start reading that?
What's the hang-up about? Why do I have to start the whole search all over again?
And, why, when I DO start the search all over again, why does Dave's so often say: No, I've searched just too recently, I have to WAIT a bit...?!
I'm very confused.

Why does have to be that indirect? This is the only site I know that has such a f***ed up search function. Like you've gotta be a 33rd degree Mason to be able to figure out how to use a tool that should be as simple as poss in helping the punters find what their little hearts desire so. I bet it would cost nothing to correct the problem. Perhaps one of the smarmy dave's superlifers with a backgrounding in coding for dirty favours can take a look at it in their lunch hour some time... hm? Like you did with the php bs sbbs error thing? |

Really? It's the standard phpBB search function that most sites haves. I'm not sure they can do much about it. http://www.phpbb.com/phpbb uses the same search function, so I believe we are stuck with it. |
