Is Liquid Smoke available in Korea? Or does anyone know any other way to add a "smoky" flavor to homemade sausage?

The only thing I lack is a fire pit in my apartment. But if I had a fire pit, I'd probably smoke the meat itself... Laughing

Can't remember. Just a suggestion.

Oh, I have seen where you can buy Chinese water at health places that smells exactly like liquid smoke. I don't know what liquid smoke tastes like, but the smell is identical.

It's not medicine. It's just water that smells like smoke. It tastes like water.

I have liquid smoke. I got it either at Hannam or the Namdaemun black market about 5 years ago. A good determined mission checking out all points of supply running from the red door and doing the circuit should get you what you need.

Next time I'm in Seoul, that's the plan. Thanks for your help!

If you make it to Jeonju you can pick up liquid smoke at Feel Mart-across from E Mart. I noticed they had a few bottles.
