Vacation ??
If you re-up with GEPIK you get 2 calendar weeks off for a home leave at the end of or between contracts. You remain on salary and they will pay for your airfare home and back. |

Do tell, they were trying to tell me I could take both of my 2 weeks of vaction for the contract year and go home. |

Hey, I have the same question.
I have the same clause.
Can I interpret it to mean that if I re-up, then in January or February, I will be entitled to 14 paid weekdays, in addition to whatever vacation my new contract stipulates? So theoretically, I would be entitled to 21 work days or about a month out of country...?
(Generally that stipulation is one week during the winter holiday and one during the summer.) |

If they let you pile your re-up time and your winter vacation time together, then yes. You can also bank up to 7 working days from one calendar year to the next.

That would be cool for some. 14 days for re-up. 14 days standard. 7 days carried from the year before.
35 days. Not bad.
Thanks. |
