Where do you go to buy a topical antibotic like neosporin? Can you just pop into a pharmacy and get it without a prescription?

And what about anti-fungal powder/cream?

For Neosporin, I'd just go into a pharmacy and ask for a first aid cream. It's available over the counter. I don't know about an anti-fungal cream. If I were you, I'd just ask for it at the pharmacy and find out what they tell you.

You can buy an ointment called "fucidin" over the counter here, which is an antibiotic ointment similar to Neosporin.

That's one thing I miss...being able to go into a pharmacy and just picking up what I need without bothering anyone. When we went to Bejing last year, we found this nice mall that had a western style pharmacy. My wife and I went in and I was able to find first aid cream and some other stuff.

There's another one, too: I believe the name in English is Madecasol. The Korean name for Fucidin actually starts with an H.

I've found Neosporin at the black market stores: Dongdaemun, as well as a couple of the ones in Bundang. You could also check the Red Door.

Lamisil is an excellent antifungal cream, and it's available here. I understand you can get it with or without prescription, the only difference being cost.

Or, shop abroad. I stock up on that stuff when I'm in countries that don't require communication with pharmacists.
