lol actually i did something like this for my first year from i-to-i tefl. of course i didnt know any better. they put in a tiny province called yecheon near andong city. it cost about 300 pounds at that time. looking back of course it was stupid but i had no idea that i could find a job by myself at that time. they took that money and just introduced me to a recruiter. they even said that there was a possibility that i couldnt get a job even though i paid the money, so i should do everything the recruiter said and take whatever he offered, so with me not wanting to lose the money i spent, i accepted.
yeah i got ripped off, but if i hadn't have joined that programme i probably would have never come to korea in the first place, so i'm glad i did it in the end.
but 1700 pounds?????????? HUGE RIP OFF! |

I love it! "South Korea" is a new gap year destination.
I suppose in theory the money charged is for the language course and the uni accom.
But, as we know you can arrange all that yourself.
"Excellent wage of 900 GBP a month" that's like 1. 6million won a month . Who gets paid that little these days?
Also, you notice that it doesn't say that they will be available to help you whilst you are working in Korea.

1.6 is the "going rate" for illegal teachers. |
