Some exercises (if you do them right) will work on your stomach muscles even if they target other muscle groups, like triceps pull downs and standing arm curls.

OK so I'm a 32 inch waist now, been working out for a few weeks. I'm up to 140 situps in one hour, 70 + 70. Simple question...how long and how many situps do I need to be doing to achieve the elusive six pack stomach? I've also been doing weight training, but I don't have any questions about that right now. Thanks for your help in advance...will check in later to see if anyone answered my question.

Oh, right - one more quick question...who the hell is Andre Kim?? Shocked
Andre Kim is a Korean fashion designer. He has a shop in Shinsa.

Spot-reduction is a myth. You will never have a six-pack unless you get rid of the layer of fat on top of the abdominal muscle, and you can only accomplish that through diet/exercise.

I'm sick of people telling me that I'm wrong and their latest AbZoneAtBeach HyperDiet will give you six-pack abs if you only eat white cheese and do 1,500 crunches a day, so if you want more information PM me and I'm happy to share the science of diet and exercise with you.

Caveat: I'm not a bodybuilder. I'm about 185cm, 100kg. I have relatively low bodyfat (I do have a six-pack), but am a powerlifter (and have a world record in the sport).

Please, please, please either talk to an exercise physiologist or buy a used textbook or find an online academic journal or find SOME way to get academic, scientific facts about exercise and fitness. You're not getting that here.

Yeah. Just look at the bodybuilders. They don't always have a six pack. They can be quite fat when they are bulking up, actually.

I would describe my training style of that of a powerlifter. I'm not into competing, though (too much time and effort). A world record? Cool.
