A treasury issuance IS DEBT.

They are going to issue debt to pay off debt?

Do you pay your visa with your mastercard and think your debt is gone? I think maybe you just want to distract from the OP and have a macroecon pissing contest.

there's a reason the Fed Chief is always someone with significant private sector experience.

honestly, there is a huge gap of understanding between academia and the private sector.

its in both interests to keep it that way. altho u may be more the victim of such a policy rather than the benefector (professors)

I'm not in academia. Upon finishing my masters I joined a financial research/publication firm.

yeah i can tell you don't have much private sector experience.

u seem kind of in the middle, like u describe, but funded by political interests.

sorry but i don't consider that true research from the private sector perspective. no offense. but someone's gotta pay u right? its all good man.

Nonsense. It is trading hours in Korea right now. Yu're full of shat if you're saying that you trade or otherwise do anything other than sort mail in 'industry'.
