Hi
I'm flying out to Seoul in October for three weeks to see if I could speak to/interview with some of the Language Schools and generally see if I could live in Seoul!
I'm looking at staying in Itaewon, Seoul initally because its where most of the foreigners/expats seem to be. (So wont be a difficult start in Korea for me.. )
Can anyone advise a good cheap place to stay and or Business English schools/hagwons /Universities to visit/look up. Also, is cheap accomdation easy to come by?
If anyone wants to meet up for a beer when I get over there PM me! Be great to meet some people out there doing the job!??!
Any help/advise appreciated!!

Three weeks might not be enough time to secure a GOOD job - though you will find many open jobs.
Still, I think you're doing the right thing. Try to arrange lots of interviews/meetings before you land.
As for cheap place to stay, look into GOSHIWON - and it doesn't necessarily have to be in itaewon (doubt there are any there), just make sure it's near a subway station. you can stay at one for a month for something like 300,000 won |
