Explain to me what proof you have that such sloopy attitude is all too common? I don't like the cops and they have no reason to like me, but sloppy is too broad a post to make.
What do you expect?
That they will invade every house, open every car and arrest every witness in the action of finding a criminal?
Personally I hate that they are calling them kiwi's as they are Chinese and I am not called Korean when I do something wrong, so why is there double standards.
A few years ago, An australian citizen was convicted and sentenced for 14 years in a Chinese jail because he was Chinese ethnicity and the Chinese Goverment found him Chinese first and Australian second.
No one complained.
So why is NZ looking bad and why are all the articles promoting the kiwi issue? |

You can't have it both ways. Either the police follow procedure and get a warrant to enable them to search private propery, or they are free to inspect whatever and whenever they choose.

Reread what has been posted here. The police could've obtained the necessary documentation in under an hour. It was meant to be a search for a missing person. 45 hours is not excusable.
