I'm not bitter at NZ but such sloppy attitude is all too common in NZ. Please don't make this about me.

Explain to me what proof you have that such sloopy attitude is all too common? I don't like the cops and they have no reason to like me, but sloppy is too broad a post to make.

What do you expect?

That they will invade every house, open every car and arrest every witness in the action of finding a criminal?

Personally I hate that they are calling them kiwi's as they are Chinese and I am not called Korean when I do something wrong, so why is there double standards.

A few years ago, An australian citizen was convicted and sentenced for 14 years in a Chinese jail because he was Chinese ethnicity and the Chinese Goverment found him Chinese first and Australian second.

No one complained.

So why is NZ looking bad and why are all the articles promoting the kiwi issue?

Just imagine that you park your car on the side of the street anywhere in NZ. Now just imagine your fury if you discovered that police decided to open the boot because 'they were looking for someone'. I can just imagine your outburst then.
You can't have it both ways. Either the police follow procedure and get a warrant to enable them to search private propery, or they are free to inspect whatever and whenever they choose.
Just imagine.

Reread what has been posted here. The police could've obtained the necessary documentation in under an hour. It was meant to be a search for a missing person. 45 hours is not excusable.

I'm quoting:
---
It (the car) was under the noses of police for nearly two days as they scoured a cordoned off Mt Roskill address just metres away.

Detective Inspector David Pearson admitted in a media conference a short time ago, her husband's car could have been searched sooner.

And here is another example:

CALIFORNIAN police say the delay by New Zealand detectives to issue a warrant for Naiyin Xue's arrest has given the fugitive a huge head start on investigators.
