Does anyone know if this restaurant has closed recently, or if not could they give me reliable directions?

I tired to find it today following some sketchy directions I found on another website, to no avail.

The directions I had were to go to Sinchon subway stop, head towards Yongsei University (I took exit 3), and at the intersection with the pharmacies (?) take a left into the alley, the restaurant is on your left.

Can anyone do better than this? I want me some good French cooking!

Thanks in advance.

Your directions seem correct, from what I remember. It is, however, on the second floor, above some kimbap/sushi chain restaurant. I, too, hope it's not closed, because that was good food for a good price. And it's so darn hard to find French food in Korea (outside of Itaewon, of course).

From the station, walk down the main street towards Yonsei and turn left on the last street before going into Yonsei (there is a Starbucks on the corner; if you're familiar with Mike's Cabin, walk as if you are going there).

Go down one block and look up, I think it's on the third floor. It might even be in the same building as the bright yellow french cafe.

When I went there in September, it was closed. I had been once before and wanted to go again before I left Korea.
I had front-of-house Damien's card and the cell phone number on his card no longer worked. Really sad, I wonder what happened to them?

I am sure they were very involved in Koroot (for adoptees), so you might be able to find out what happened to them by contacting Koroot?

Le Petit Paris is no more, and has been replaced by a fortuneteller's coffee shop. I've heard co-owner Damian has returned to France for good, and that the chef Matthieu is now giving cooking lessons. That place had problems because the chef was so lazy; he'd open or close the place when he wanted to.

Interesting.

The space that was their "kitchen" was sooooooooooo tiny, I remember. The food took a while to come out, but it was very good stuff.

The location was bad because Sinchon is mostly frequented by young people or students who don't have the dough to drop large.

And like I said, I remember it was hit-or-miss whether the restaurant would be open on any given day. You simply CANNOT run an eatery like that.
