Tomorrow, I have a class that I need to take outside for 40 minutes, and I need to think of an activity that will be both fun and at least 1% educational. Help me some good ideas. I have already done a couple of scavenger hunts with them and I need something new.

how old? i'd suggest egg-spoon races, 3-legged races, how about photo scavenger hunts (with their mobiles)?

They are elementary school students, mostly grade 5 and 6, and they are for the most part, pretty good with English.

I like the cell phone scavenger hunt, but they may not all have one.

I have an idea...think of an activity that would work well outside where the Ss can have fun and learn English at the same time. What do you think? Very Happy

almost every 1st grader in my middle school summer camp had one! if not, pair them up (one has a mobile, one doesn't). other than that, u could always play soccer with them or have them run laps (1 wrong answer = 1 lap) Wink
