The only place I've ever seen it is on base. Too bad you didn't post this last week. I gave a jar to a friend of mine. Your next best bet is to try the store in the basement at the Volvo building in Hannam-dong. |

| Hanam supermarket has it. I buy molasses to make cookies. It's at the imported store in Hanam supermarket, also in the red door store down from the Burger king in Itaewon. |

It's called 당밀 in Korean, and I bought a nice big jug of it online a month ago at a baking supply shop:

It work great in gingersnaps! (and on cornbread or cream of wheat)
I've also used the ultra dark brown sugar, and it's turned out fine--a lot of recipes call for a mix of white/brown sugar plus mollasses, but brown sugar is really just white sugar with the molasses still in it, so you can get pretty close. |
