I saw you at Sindorim station at maybe 12:30 pm, and you were with an olive skinned white woman. Hey, I know you're super cool and think everyone else is stupid, but if you keep your backpack unzipped on the subway, with all of those English textbooks and papers hanging out, eventually everyone, even us idiots, will figure out that you teach privates. Just thought I'd let you know that while you may think everyone else in Korea is stupid, we're not blind. Next time, either zip up your backpack, or just wear a t-shirt that reads "I teach privates in Seoul on Saturday."

Sorry.

Next time I'll hide my privates.

Oh, and the young white dude with short red hair who was holding English textbooks on the #6 line (World Cup Stadium stop), you're a putz, too.

At any given time, at any given Starbucks in Korea, there will be at least three private lessons taking place. FACT.

I saw one guy at the Coffee shop on the second floor, on the corner near Gecko's in Shitaewon. Looked like Ron Jeremy. Now I realise there must have been at least two more privates going on at the same time there. Maybe Jenna Jameson was there teaching the passive.

I was there a few weeks again having a coffee and talking with a friend and seen the same guy. I was like holy fuck that's Ron Jeremy. He had a bad hawaiian shirt on and the cheesy mustache.

That's the one! I was there at Chuseok. Sitting there wondering at what part of the previous night my head should feel as bad is would the day after, when lo and behold Ron Jeremy giving a private wearing the bad hawaiian shirt and the cheesy moustache. Guess he's been outed and will have to go back to porn. He stuck out like a sore thumb.

OP: What exactly was Mr. Beard saying?

Just cuz he had English books doesn't mean he was teaching privates, and if was teaching privates, it doesn't mean he was doing it illegally.

Good for him - earning himself a few extra bucks on the side, untaxed.

I hate listening to foreigners teach privates in public. For one, it becomes blatantly obvious that most of them CAN'T teach. They don't have the faintest clue how to teach.

Very famous porn star, or that's what I heard. This picture is the spitting image of the guy I saw in the coffee shop, even with the bad shirt. When you see him you'll know.
