It's the only time of the day I have time to eat a proper meal, so breakfast is usually my biggest. It never used to be that way (it used to be a Yoplait and a juice), but since I changed I've had waaaaaay more energy through the rest of the day. I have to eat at 5AM because of an early-starting job, but I never leave home without first having:

- A lot of eggs. Two or three whole ones, and about five whites. More than three yolks is pushing my limits with cholesterol, and the whites are for the extra protein.
- Two or three slices of rye toast. One of 'em with crunch peanut butter.
- An apple or, now that it's winter, a couple mandarin oranges.
- Milk.

Between the eggs and the peanut butter it sounds like a lot of fat, but breakfast is a decent time to get a lot of fat in because your metabolism's ready for it from fasting for the last 6-8 hours during sleep. The rest of my meals throughout the day aren't as big as breakfast, but usually spaced 3 hours apart.

OH YEAH. My latest indulgence... Bought a box of Cap'n Crunch for a whoppin 8500 won at red door. Worth every won. Still the best crappy cereal ever on the face of the Earth.

rice cookers rock and I miss oat meat.

I cook rice with apples and raisins, add milk cinnamon and sugar.

Berry berry nice and it freaks out Koreans.

Omlets with cheese from Costco and Korean spinach (Shi-geumchi). My second fav.

Of course Dwaenjeong and fish aint bad either.

Weekdays includes Quaker instant and some tea or real coffee.
Weekends don't eat much for breakfast, but like to go to Mcdrive thru for a McMuffin on the weekend.

Another HUGE one has just opened in Suwon, near the castle bridge, I forget the Korean name again.
But I go to the little one round the corner.

Either: muslix and toast, or a chocolate chip pop tart.

Oreovictim, I know where you are coming from. "4 fried chickens!", is classic. I'll just have "Toast!, thank you Ma'am." I suspect the Oreos were
a light snack between meals or your friends are pranksters.

Jake and Elwood aside, I'm not living forever. Just heat up
a big bowl of lard, and "What the hell, double my order of empty calories." It's gonna be a long day...
I hear ya, Young Frank...

One of a few things. Sometimes that sesame cereal (gongmul iyagi) and a protein shake, sometimes eggs and cheese, sometimes oatmeal (hooray, coming back to Korea with a suitcase full of food), sometimes just Muscle Milk (yum). So long as it has a good amount of protein and is around 700-800 calories I'm good to go for a couple hours.

Nope- Edmonton, Alberta. Is Cap'n Crunch popular in Truro?

What flavor? I just polished off my first ever tub of that stuff in the cookies and cream (that was the only choice at maxpowershop.com). It tasted too good to even be a supplement! I want to order another one, but will probably go back to ON.

On working mornings, juice and allgreens, sometimes with cereal. Grapefruit juice and a coffee to go.

Weekends--blueberry pancakes or crepes for me and the kids.

My kids love cheerios from Costco.

If someone can tell me where to find a reliable supply of Life cereal, I would be indebted to you for as long as I live here.

No?
