Che is my hero? I'm not on the left dude. Bad is bad, regardless of your political leanings.

The Plame affair will be bigger than you can imagine. A sitting American President committing treason. A non-starter. yeah.

A non-starter is right. Treason? Talk about hyperbole. The issue will go nowhere because it has no gas. Deal with it, Che.

Treason: a crime that undermines the offender's government.

Bush outed a spy. While President. That is treason. It is a perfectly acceptable use of the word. Get used to it, Adolf.

peel;

Outing a spy, which Bush didn't do, is not treason. It is at most a rather minor offence.

It is a FEDERAL offense, taken very seriously and punished heavily.

Quote:
the Intelligence Identity Protection Act was passed in 1982.

Since then, any government official with access to classified information who discloses the identity of a covert agent without authorization is subject to 10 years in prison and $50,000 in fines.

Prison for Bush, Cheney, et al.? His Daddy's law.

Here's some more. Note the bolded.

Quote:
In fact, the man seen by the U.S. government as one of the most notorious traitors of the 20th century sees the behavior of the alleged White House leaker in a negative light, even though he theoretically has no problem with outing intelligence officers.

"Of course there is a big difference between the naming of Ambassador Wilson's wife as a CIA operative under cover from my motivations and the motivations of all the many people I was working with in the 1970s," he says. "Our purpose was political was to try to put a stop to the dirty work, and this case it was simply dirty."

Agee says his intention was to disrupt not harm the lives of CIA agents.

Yes, you're right: let's change the subject. Always the best tactic when proven wrong.

Interesting. I pick up two pieces of nonsense in that:

1) Dishonesty about a BJ is morally equivalent to outing a spy, telling lies to get into war etc etc etc.
2) Two wrongs make a right. Clinton did it, and therefore so can we.

1. What's "ne?"

2. Another good tactic when getting your brain handed to you is to take a comment out of its context to imply something not said by the originator of the comment.

The weught of the law says dishonesty about a BJ is worse than outing a CIA agent. That said, I consider Slick Willy Clinton a piece of immoral trailer trash.

The outing of the CIA agent did nit start the war. Saddam the Insane tried a bluff about WMDs and lost. Iraq has been losing ever since.

Raloh Nader's correspondent is somehting of a fool for saying 90% chance of no election, Nader is a doofus for repeating it. The concept is totally absurd.
