I have read a lot of contradictory statements on this. Some people say
you still need an E-2 visa to work even though they have an F-2. Is this true?
Any info would be appreciated. |

The F2 IS your work visa(spouse is your sponsor as opposed to the school). They can still ask for your quals though. |

Depends.... What you are exactly asking?
You don't need to apply for an E-2 visa to teach. But you still need the same qualifications (ie. University Degree from one of the "Native English" countries) to be allowed to legally teach. |

I got a Bachelors of Education degree. My fiance and I are
considering moving our marriage plans ahead if these
new E-2 regs turn out to be too inconvenient or costly. |

Might be a good idea. Depending on your job, you may still have to jump through some of the same hoops, however. |

If you are married to a Kyopo, can you still qualify for an f2 visa? |
