| It appears that the candidates are ignoring Wyoming (to protect their assssssets from the RNC). The rest of us may as well follow the candidates' lead. |

Even most newspapers and even wikipedia skip it.
Will be interesting Saturday (Sunday morning here) nontheless.
I wonder if there will be ANY (even a smidgen) of media build-up whatsoever over the next couple days.
It's officially next. It's now it's time. I read Hunter is there as he has family connections to the state. |

It's only the Republicans running in Wyoming. Interesting nontheless. Wonder how Dems would fare out there.
I could see Wyoming going to either Huckabee or possibly Thompson (he's kind of cowboy-esqe). Ron Paul might do alright out there as well.
Actually they all have stakes there. Mormons with Romney are found in Wyoming, as well McCain from Arizona being a slightly similar state - well, both being 'out west' anyways, not much more than that though.
The problem with Wyoming is all the Republican candidates will be very busy courting New Hampshire. But Saturday night (Sunday morning here), it'll be interesting to see what a western state likes in its Republican candidates. |

Mitt Romney wins. His son Josh has a ranch in Wyoming. A lot of mormons in southwestern Wyoming. It's not too far from Salt Lake City.
What's surprising about Wyoming is with its strong libertarian streak, Ron Paul didn't show as strong as you'd think.
Thompson got two delegates, he kind of sounds and acts like a Wyoming person anyways. Duncan Hunter also got a delegate, but I can't help but think it's because of his name! |

Of 12 delegates chosen,
Romney 8
Thompson 3
Hunter 1
None for Huckabee, none for RP. Hmmm.
RP does better in non-binding staw polls. I guess maybe when the chips are down and results are binding, a lot fewer want to entrust the country to him. |
