Yonhap have produced this image suggesting the fire started on the second roof level, but there's no news as to the cause as yet.
I suppose the most obvious possible cause would be an electrical fault with a light in the wooden roof.

I took about 10 minutes of Video, I'll post it once it's uploaded. It looks like it won't stand much longer, that's sad indeed. cheeseface this is not something to scoff at, even the anti-Korea posters understand the significance of this landmark.

What a shame- a few hours ago it seemed as if it was just a small issue- now it appears its going to be totally destroyed. |
