Ouch! Not seen it yet but:

IMDB # 26 of all time (236,803 votes)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137523/

80% Rotten Tomatoes

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/fight_club/

Films are relative.

The Miami Vice movie was utter crap!

The story was useless and they made Gong Li, usually a very beautiful woman, look plain and totally uninspiring.
For those who haven't seen it, she was supposed to be the attractive lead.
Anyway, if you haven't seen it, don't!

Also, as someone said, Deep Blue Sea was so stupid it hurts!

American Pie 3: American Wedding was dismal. I didn't laugh once.
I just felt sorry for the actors.

I hated Eyes Wide Shut, too. You just wanted to kick Tom Cruise in the b@lls for it.

Absolute worst movie I ever saw in the theater- The Avengers with Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman & Sean Connery. It was just terrible.
Someone said it was supposed to be campy. It really missed that marked. Crap!

Please explain (but only if you promise not to type the word Sparta followed by more than one exclamation point).

300 is like Braveheart via MTV.

No, wait, it's like Gladiator via MTV2.

I thought it was more like Frank Miller via a blue-screen.

Strangeland
Quote:
A sadist by the name of "Captain Howdy" lures teens through the internet into his painful traps, in forms of body modification rituals. After Captain Howdy kidnaps a detective's daughter, the detective starts pursuing him. Eventually they catch him and send him to a mental hospital. Upon his release, the townspeople do not accept the new, peaceful former Captain Howdy, and lynch him to an apparent death, which causes him to revert to his previous self. Howdy starts to seek revenge and starts everything all over, only worse

All that, and it's written by Dee Snider!

Evolution
I got flowers as a reward for not walking out of the theatre during this. The fact that one of the stars was a guy whose prior claim to fame was a 7-up commercial should've warned me

On Deadly Ground- Overlooked the fact that it was a Steven Seagal movie, because Michael Caine was in it too. Even he couldn't save it. The roommate and I had to turn it off because we were laughing too hard at the slapfight that broke out during the bar scene.

The Devil's Rejects- I like Rob Zombie's music, but this made me want a shower, complete with scouring pad to the brain.

Rumor Has it
- marketed as the real story behind The Graduate(which is a pretty good movie) and that was enough of a hook for me. It shouldn't have been. Kevin Costner making his way through three generations of women in the same family. I still shudder at the memory

Most of these can be explained because I'd run out of reading material.

The lesson of this post is: reading the back of the cereal box, or your 9th grade math textbook, or whatever user manuals are around is often a better bet than grabbing a random movie to watch

1. Batman and Robin

this has got to be my favourite example of a movie that's so UNfunny that it's actually kinda hilarious.

"let's kick some ICE!!"

You're kidding me! That's up on my best list. Read the book first, saw the film, loved it. Hilarious!
