Quote:
NASHVILLE, Tenn. Three men have been charged in the firebombing of a small mosque over the weekend, federal prosecutors said Tuesday. Authorities said Eric Ian Baker, 32, Michael Corey Golden, 23, and Jonathan Edward Stone, 19, had planned for a week to burn down the Islamic Center of Columbia, about 40 miles southwest of Nashville, First Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul O'Brian said.

The men are accused of using gasoline, rags and empty beer bottles to set fire to the storefront mosque on Saturday. The men, who were arrested later that day, are facing federal charges of unlawful possession of a destructive device and state charges of arson.

The federal complaint filed against the men says Stone and Baker told officers they were members of the Christian Identity movement, an extreme doctrine that claims white Europeans are God's chosen people. The complaint also said Baker spray-painted swastikas on the walls of the building, including the phrase "White Power."

Looks like all the anti Muslim hate propaganda in the media is having the desired effect.

So, you are saying the media in reporting news about muslims wants white supremacists to burn down mosques?

You're going to need to provide some evidence for that.

Obviously no sane person supports violent attacks on mosques, but considering US mosques are demonstrably responsible for preaching Saudi-sponsored Wahhabism, it's unsurprising that mosques will become targets of violence. Expect more in the future and also expect suicide bombings in US cities to be only a question of when and how devastating.

muslims are less popular than herpes now. And it is only muslims that can change this.

The left and other mulitculti types have tried to shut people up by calling them names, and this has only made the reaction more angry and intense.

If muslims want to be part of Western society and not be widely disliked, they are going to have to start a massive and meaningful (and honest) PR campaign. This means marching when mulsims blow stuff up. Writing letters to the editor denouncing muslim violence by the thousands. Publicly challenging the hate that is spat in almost every mosque. Opposing the taxi drivers who won't take blind dudes and their dogs. And they better get on it quick. And not being so gawddamed defensive and tribal.

Like the Mexicans who take Mexican flags to pro-immigration rallies and alienate those who would likely support them, the muslims are their own worst enemy. Constantly playing the victim card is getting them nowhere.

By the by. Setting fire to a small mosque isn't a bomb. These are bombs:

I'm just wondering if thep_eel [sic] will have wet dreams about this tonight.

I'm confident the moderates will rally around and denounce the actions of the slimeballs who did this. I'm not going to say anything about what happens or doesn't happen in other countries. I'm more concerned that people in my country act correctly.

Would the kind of 'evidence' your right wing government likes to present suffice?

What I'm referring to is the incitement of fear and hatred in the general population against an out group. Something right wingers love to do. And anyone who does that knows full well that acts of violence directed at that out group will occur.

And interesting you zero in on the "white supremacists" description while carefully avoiding the Christian bit.

Yes. Examples that the media whips up hate against muslims. Provide 5. Then i will counter with 5 that demonstrate how the media plays down the threat. Keep it mass media and mainstream. Consider this a challenge that will follow you around for the next 6 months if you don't participate.

Examples and evidence.

I'm atheist. Pay attention, douchebag.

Hey ya-ta.
Find a single example where I have ever advocated in any capacity, even slightly, any kind of violence. Use the search function. Find one. Thanks.

Did I say you weren't. I pointed out you dodged the Christian reference, after all it's Islam which is being spun as a religion of hate, compared to "civilised" Christianity.

You have already thrown your governments BS about WMD down the memory hole obviously. I understand, it must be very painful and humiliating for you to remember.

Ok, it's your challenge, so you go first, knock yourself out. Smile

Cerulean

Funny you ought to talk about the Iraq war in this thread. if it makes you feel any better most white supremacists opposed the Iraq war.

They blame it on neo conservatives just like you do .
