I posted a topic about the age of consent laws in Korea and provided resources to show this was absolutely the truth that the government allowed children to have sex with adults. I clearly showed the age of consent was 13 and there were no age limits on the partners. Some people decided that it was ok for a 13 year old was OK to have sex with if you are an adult, I criticized it. Now here is the kicker I posted something like this before and they took it off immediately. With all this underage sex tourism in Asian countries including Korea and laws allowing children to have sex with adults (telling the paeodophiles to come over here), I thought this would be a good GENERAL discussion topic. Anyway, it seems that once again Dave's ESL came to the save of the Korean government to not make the government look bad, you know to "save face."

Trollfool, why don't you post the thread so others can take a look at it? You posted it in the CE forum.

I didn't enter into that fray, but I saw what went down. The general consensus was trollfool was trying to dig up dirt. He failed miserably.

Edit: I just checked. It's not there anymore. What a surprise.

People, ignore this guy. If you could have read that thread, you would understand.

This is the truth.

I think this will prove the age of consent in Korea.

http://www.yesu.kimc.net/49sung-1.htm (Korean)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Asia
http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/child_abuse_and_recovery/113006
http://psychology.wikia.com/wiki/Age_of_consent
http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent.htm
http://www.avert.org/aofconsent.htm

In addition, for people who disagree with me when I say it is wrong for minors to have sex with adults, you either support paeodophiles or you are one yourself. Also, look at this article from the BBC on age of consent:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/3699814.stm

Anyway, my point of this topic was not to point out what I already pointed out. I was trying to say if you say bad thangs directly about Korea it will be taken off.

First, in the US the states with age of consent at 14 have a three to four year rule. This means the partner shall be no more than three or four years age or the partner can be charged with statuatory rape. Second, the seoul police website forum was not even posted by the police, it was posted by a user like we are users. Furthermore, my fiancee is a supervisor at the Incheon Free Economic Zone (a government agency) and I believe she knows more about Korean laws and she says it clearly states 13 without age limitation, only limitations they put is if someone pays for it and tries to manipulate the girl into it.

The only people who call other people a troll are usually the ones who disagree with the person who started the post. In reality, the ones who are calling me a troll disagree that adults should not have sex with minors. So these people must feel it is OK for adults to have sex with minors.

It's very interesting to check out this site's numbers:
http://www.ageofconsent.com/ageofconsent.htm

Spain's age of consent is also 13.

Homosexuality, according to that site, is still illegal in some American states.

I didn't see the original thread by the OP, which was deleted, but you guys are really giving the OP a hard time, and he has now backed it up fairly convincingly. What say you now?

What if your girlfriend is in her 20s, but acts like she is 13?

Hanson you point out one website that may not be up to date while there are many others that are. Hmmm..another person trying to make an excuse for the age of consent being so low.

Korean women tend to act like children because they feel it is cute. But in reality their mentality level according to psychology shows they are developed mentally. Read the article on BBC.
