There are dozens of different kinds and many I don't care for, but some are really good.

Tell her to get you something normal. Pine needle gruel tastes as bad as it sounds.

Calling it gruel is cruel, what with the negative connotation of the former.

I prefer 'rice porridge.'

I love Tuna so I would love to try that one....I think Salmon Juk would be good too...

But the only one I have tried is 팥죽 and it was horrible. I love 팥빙수 but the porridge is definitely an acquired taste.

Just boil whatever you have on hand in the kitchen to an unidentifiable sludge.
Voila - wellbing!

If you think it's ridiculous, why did you let the well-being tricksters fool you?

That's poor OPSEC.

Make sure you put something like twang-jang or go-chu jang in it, because if you don't its going to taste bland

I liked it, I used to eat it after a night of drinking with my ex-gf's father.....cool for hangovers

I ate nothing but a cup of it a day for 2 weeks (no kiddin). You'd think that'd make me sick of it, but i actually developed a taste for it. I imagine if it didn't hold a place in my mind as sweet, nourishing manna, it'd think it was bland and sh*tty.
