I'm looking to buy a fairly big travel backpack before I go on a trip next month.

I've posted in the buy/sell/trade forum as well, because I wouldn't mind a used one to save some money, but if I can get a good quality new one for a decent price, I might just get a new one.

So are there any specific shops in Seoul to get a good one? |

				| there are places just outside of namdaemun, on the side of chungmuro. hope this helps......walk along the outside of namdaemun and you will eventually see stores on the opposite side |

Did you see Superdave's reply to you about a 20,000 won pack on your other thread?

To clarify Espo's directions, you want the north side of the street that runs between Seoul Station and Chungmuro. |

I've had no luck with a similar query on another thread

I'm going to partially hijack (sorry) this one!

Namdaemun doesn't work for me (I'm in Busan...and the the pack FOR my trip to Seoul).

Budget-wise, I'm happy to pay for quality. The issue is, I don't know what's good, and what isn't. I can shell out $180 for a K2 pack...but there are many other brands out there that might do much the same at a better price point.

Anyone have experience with a particular brand that they can give the thumbs up to? |

A friend of mine recently bought a backpack on Gmarket

(http://global.gmarket.co.kr/). I don't know what he paid, but he said it was very reasonable, and the quality appeared good. |
