Neh? I'll have to check that out when I watch it again. I usually give each ep 2 or 3 viewings. I liked how that cylon guarding the hybrid was looking pretty bad. Not the shiny toaster. |

What is your take on the hybrids' message about Starbuck and her destiny? |

The guy who plays Adama was quoted in the news as saying "we have to consider the series ending up without them making it." It might be a big red herring. RDM likes to do that. |

No they do those shots by camera trickery and shooting it several times. It's all Grace Park, except maybe a background character or two. RDM goes into a bit of detail in one of the podcasts from season 3 (When they're all in Colonial 1.) and Cap6 gets shot by Doral. |

I really liked this episode. The scene with Athena facing off the eights was great: it showed just how far she's come. RDM stated previously that when she was willing to help kill her whole race, because she'd made her decision and oath that it was basically a oneway street for the character: he didn't think it possible to take something like that back. And it shows in the way she's been written since.
Mary McDonnell was incredible this ep. Such a good actress. And the scenes of her with Nana Visitor of DS9 were very powerful.
The scene with Natile and the six who was killed on NewCaprica (not a significant character, just a six.) was so good that I even forgave them the obvious plot device of having a very minor character come along for the ride.
My guess for the direction where the plot is going is that somehow Boomer is going to be in a critical position. Her character is still unredeemed, and it's just too tempting a story point for a good writer to overlook. She's in with the Cavils in the other basestars so it's all set up. |

all the other episodes, yes, but i disagree about this episode. i was immediately struck by how the 2 that had speaking roles were very similar, but not exactly like grace park (one had just a slightly fatter face). i was also struck by how much more realistic the interaction was. i dont care how good f/x get, there always seems to be something a little canned when 1 actor/actress is doing both sides of a conversation. it didnt seem at all canned in their scene
besides, she's korean. we all know they all look alike, right?

Still that bald cap didn't work for me. RDM said on one of the podcasts that he'd never use a fake beard, as they just don't look real. (One ep Baltar cut off his beard and they needed him for a flash back to the time when he had a beard.) I think he should have extended that rule to bald caps never work. |

I'd prefer the fake beard to the Chief shaving and moisturizing between getting news of Callies execution and going to save her. RDM admitted that possible loophole, but IIRC there was a small out, so he opted for that over a falsie.
I think the bald cap is why they had her in a scarf after the first scene. I don't think it would be practical to shave off Roslins hair, at least not all of it. Probably shooting schedules interfering with the timeline of the story. |

Looked like the same woman to me. I'd put the reality down to better shooting and acting than before. Grace Park is streets ahead of where she was in the first season.
The burden of proof is on you I'd say. |

A very good episode !!!
Mary McDowell has got those BIG eyes, very attractive face with the bald cap ! 
Adama is acting a little old and pushed around. Not at all like the first season. They should give him a better script soon.
If Kara will lead them all to their end, then who will lead them to safety?
If a cylon came from earth to lead humanity back to earth, then is there any real humanity left ?
What happens with the Calvins? Don't they have about a million base stars on the hunt ?
