Damn if that isn't one cool looking umbrella. You should get yourself a cart and start selling those things in Insadong.

Hangeul script just looks cool, I wonder if young koreans are going to come to a point where they realise it too and start making clothing with it on?
Much better than all the crap with english slogans saying "My lovely dream of clouds".

You wrote all that in Korean? Impressive.

Yes, I want some T-shirts with hangeul on it, and not just World Cup shirts.

I was amazed when I first asked my korean friend where I could get shirts with hangeul on:
Confused
"Maybe you could try near the US army base?"
Shocked

I did take the test! And I passed...
Before I made the umbrella I checked with a number of places about whether I could make an image, scan it on to an umbrella and make my own. I found a shop specializing in making them, but they can't scan anything that complex and since they are usually made with eight separate pieces of fabric it would have been a nearly impossible task. So I calculated how much space I would have to write with the line thickness I decided on, and it seemed that it would fit, but I didn't really know until I wrote the whole thing down.
As for the story itself, I have another 100 pages or so of it and it's not done yet. I plan to turn it into a book much later on, when I feel like editing and revising the whole thing.
