I am looking for a decent laptop for music, movies, basic functions, etc. I am also looking for a used cell phone as I am having problems purchasing a new cell phone without my alien card which I do not have yet. Thanks!

How much are you looking to spend on the cell phone?

I might have one to get rid of. I was recently considering getting a cell-phone plan and have been using this other one on a pay-as-you-go basis. It's about 2 years old but in good condition and really small. It's a Samsung and the type that slides open to reveal the keypad.

It's black with a lot of the regular bells and whistles a cell phone comes with.

Go to Yongsan COEX mall for your cell phone. All you need is your passport for a card phone (prepaid phone) here.

Phones range from 40,000W to 100,000W+, your choice on how much you want to spend.

8th floor, "중고" phone section of SK Telecom. There are about 100 SK Telecom booths.. but the booth you should look for it all the way near the back right side when you get up from the elevator. Their booth telephone number is 02-2012-1991. The person who picks up is usually a woman named Junggyu, but there is a decent English speaking fellow there who you can talk to. After you buy the phone, you just buy minutes. 10,000W = 27 minutes, 30W per text, incoming free.

If you have a Korean friend that is willing to sign for you, why would you bother to go to those sites? And usually, if they don't require ARC and give you a phone, the rates are ridiculous. Why would you bother when you can go the way I described.

i got one i'll sell for 40k. its a lg chocolate. its on a ktf pay as you go plan. i just recently signed a year contract. everything works fine and its a good phone, camera and everything.

only thing its missing is a charger, which i need for my new phone. the phone itself needs a special charger attachment, which i have an dont need with the new phone.

if you want it, we can meet up and i'll go with you to the ktf store to transfer it over to you.
