| Sure the US made mistakes in the cold war and Iran in 1953 was probably close to the worst. But the US apologized for that , Khomeni's secret police were just as cruel and it doesn't justify Iran's actions 30 , 40 years later. |

Have you got a link to that apology? |

Saddam looks awful tame now doesn't he? |
I'm definitely not for any death or lynchings of anyone. There's too much violence in the world already. Besides, if oil goes up to $300+ after an Israeli bombing and the American economy collapses, I'm worried that rednecks might try to lump me in with the Zionists the same way that innocent Muslims and even Sikhs were attacked after 9/11. And even though Saddam sucked ass, he probably wasn't as bad as Sadr or the other leaders of the various fragments of what used to be Iraq. |

Clinton told his audience in Davos, as well as Charlie Rose, that during his presidency he had formally apologized on behalf of the United States for what he termed American crimes against Iran.
But what were those crimes? Clinton summed them thus: Its a sad story that really began in the 1950s when the United States deposed Mr. Mossadegh, who was an elected parliamentary democrat, and brought the Shah back and then he was overturned by the Ayatollah Khomeini, driving us into the arms of one Saddam Hussein. We got rid of the parliamentary democracy {there} back in the 50s; at least, that is my belief. |

Bush, a great president? Now I know some of y'all are on drugs.
Did that Canadian super-weed arrive?
When real historians, not revisionists like Conservapedia, start writing the history books about the Bush admin's 8u year "reign of terror/stupidity", they're going to take a critical look at his many, many failings.
Like these.

| The 10 Most Awesomely Bad Moments of the Bush Presidency |
You can read the whole list here, but for the sake of time here's the list without explanation:
10. Bush Gets Re-elected (cheating in Ohio)
9. Alberto Gonzales' Congressional Testimony
8. North Korea Conducts a Nuclear Test
7. Colin Powell's Bogus WMD Presentation at the U.N.
6. The Terri Schiavo Affair
5. Bush and Condi's Excellent Gaza Adventure
4. "Brownie, You're Doing a Heckuva Job" (Hurricane FEMA)
3. Abu Ghraib
2. 9/11
1. "Mission Accomplished"
I would like to add
15. "Losing" thousands of e-mails
14. 'If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.'
13. Turning the DOD over to KBR
12. Walter Reed
11. Anthrax scares/TSA meltdowns/Liberty City 7 |

What about, "The Constitution is just a goddamn piece of paper!"
While I am inclined to believe you, do you have any evidence that this was a direct quote of Bush? It's one of those things that I have heard repeated time and time again but am unaware of the source and/or the validity of the quote.
If it is a direct quote, I fear for the future of American politics that this bum hasn't been thrown out already. A disgraceful comment that would shed some light on the core of this man's being, if true. |

"Goddamn Piece of Paper"
Washington, DC. Dec 14th, 2005 ---- There are multiple reports flying round DC that if true need to be addressed by both Houses of Congress in an Impeachment hearing. President Bush, who many believe is becoming more unstable every day is reported to have had the following exchanges during a meeting with Congressional leaders according to Doug Thompson, reporting in Capitol Hill Blue:
"GOP leaders told Bush that his hardcore push to renew the more onerous provisions of the act could further alienate conservatives still mad at the President from his botched attempt to nominate White House Counsel Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court.
I dont give a goddamn, Bush retorted. Im the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.
Mr. President, one aide in the meeting said. There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.
Stop throwing the Constitution in my face, Bush screamed back. Its just a goddamned piece of paper!
Doug Thompson wrote that he had talked to three people present for the meeting that day and they all confirm that the President of the United States called the Constitution a goddamned piece of paper." |

If those sources are reputable I would say that the media, democratic leadership and the american people are the only ones to blame for letting him off the hook. It's often said that you get the leaders you deserve. |

Don't blame me. I never voted for him, both elections were stolen for him, and I have supported impeachment from early on.
It is not even totally right to blame the American people, most of whom did not vote for him in 2000. The blame lies with the media and their corporate masters. In a free society, the media are necessary to have an informed electorate. Most people have neither the time nor inclination to spend hours learning like you or I might to get a better understanding of issues.
The media are supposed to be corporate and government watchdogs, but instead have been turned into their lapdogs.

Probably because the future violent perps don't get to watch a lynching on the town square like they used to.
Bush Cheney Chertoff Silverstein Betrayus and a host of others particularly those behind the Palestinian genocide and the Iraqi war - need to stretch a rope - in public - at high noon - with special arrangements made for YouTube video cameras.
