Hello everybody,

after teaching in Seoul for nearly two years, it's time for me to start grad school. I just got accepted into Indiana University Bloomington for the Master's Degree in Language Education. I'll be starting in the Fall and I just wanted to see if anybody else will be starting the same or a similar program as well. Current students are also welcome.

We could make a study group in Seoul or just read and revise each other's future papers. Respond below or pm me if you're interested.
Thanks.

IU - Bloomington is a great place. I went there. Are you in a language dept, or the school of Education? Be sure to live south of campus if it is the Ed school or you are in for a long bus ride/walks in the winter. I can help you on some Bloomington ins and outs, and did my masters at the school of Educ. So any help you need just ask.

Hey, thanks for the reply. It's the School of Education and I may just take you up on your offer, as I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future.

I think what I wrote was misleading in my first post. I plan to do this program via distance learning and I plan to keep teaching in Seoul for the duration.

Would you say that your degree from IU has helped you land good jobs(university jobs) here in Korea?
