Hello everybody,
after teaching in Seoul for nearly two years, it's time for me to start grad school. I just got accepted into Indiana University Bloomington for the Master's Degree in Language Education. I'll be starting in the Fall and I just wanted to see if anybody else will be starting the same or a similar program as well. Current students are also welcome.
We could make a study group in Seoul or just read and revise each other's future papers. Respond below or pm me if you're interested.
Thanks.

IU - Bloomington is a great place. I went there. Are you in a language dept, or the school of Education? Be sure to live south of campus if it is the Ed school or you are in for a long bus ride/walks in the winter. I can help you on some Bloomington ins and outs, and did my masters at the school of Educ. So any help you need just ask. |

Hey, thanks for the reply. It's the School of Education and I may just take you up on your offer, as I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future.
I think what I wrote was misleading in my first post. I plan to do this program via distance learning and I plan to keep teaching in Seoul for the duration.
Would you say that your degree from IU has helped you land good jobs(university jobs) here in Korea? |
