I fucking love this film! It is absolutely remarkable in that features every single New York cliche going AND every 50's cliche going and features some of the most ridiculous, unintentionally funny scenes in film history. Well done, sir! |
I think all of the "unintentional" humor is very much intentional, over-the-top... packing in every cliche it could. |

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris (from Return of the Dragon) yet.
Maybe the best wrestling match ever.
Part 1
Part 2
And this must be one of the worst fight scenes ever.
And don't miss this scene's amazing Matrix-like special effects! |

Some of the best chop-socky samurai action ever...here's "lone wolf and cub," the "shogun assassin" dubbed version, circa 1972.
Fun stuff...these movies rule cause the biggest ass-kicker in all Japan is this dumpy looking old guy with a baby. Much more realistic when the hero looks like crap. Must be a pretty good kendo fighter though, to be able to fake it that well...
The whole thing is there on youtube. This is the first ten minutes. Go to about four minutes in for a very impressively silly and gory fight with two guys, and then 9 minutes in for the high-body count chopping and bleeding.

Oh yeah---NSFW, unless you're in Japan.
This is another clip from the same series...geisha ninjas versus hardass manly ninjas. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutal with a capital B.
NSFW anywhere.

I could never figure out if it was meant to be a comedy or not. I mean - the Ducky Boys?! |

I watch a lot of martial arts movies. Some of the most memorable to me:
No laws of physics:
1. Crouching tiger fight that was already posted
2. Fight in the rain from "Hero"
3. The matrix - "I know kung fu"
Laws of physics:
Bruce Lee in the Chinese Connection |
