People do not get that creationism is not a theory, but a conjecture, at best an hypothesis. It does not belong in the science classroom--maybe in a debate class, but not a science classroom. It is not science. |

I think this part said it the best:
Quote: |
Judge John E. Jones III said Darwin's theory of evolution was imperfect. "However, the fact that a scientific theory cannot yet render an explanation on every point should not be used as a pretext to thrust an untestable alternative hypothesis grounded in religion into the science classroom."

Nice selection. It cannot be tested. . . cannot make predictions. . .hence does not meet the strict definition of a theory. |

Evolution is a hypothesis. It was unobservable and it is not now taking place. The evolutionist are just scared that evidence will be presented that supports creationism. How freakin closed minded can you get.
China - Don't criticize the government but you can criticize Darwin.
USA - You can criticize the government but don't you dare criticize Darwin. |

1. According to evolution fish are the first vertebrates. Where are all the fossils showing the huge transition from invertebrates to vertebrates?
2. Did everything come from nothing or is then universe eternal?
3. In terms of the "Cambrian explosion" where is the evidence of any transitional forms leading up to this?
4. What good is a bird with half a wing?
5. Describe the evolution of the eye.
More may come.... |

How is any of this evidence supporting creationism? |

It's an either or scenario. If not evolution then creationism. If not creationism then evolution. Everything either came from nothing (or matter is eternal) or there is a Creator.
1. Fishes - Fully formed fishes. Precisely what a creationist would expect to find. Where are 1/8 backbone, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 etc etc.
2. The universe had a beginning. It is running down. Matter has not always been...it was created.
3. Basically the same as #1 - fully formed species (starfish, trilobites, etc).
4. Fully formed birds (see #1).
5. Must be fully functioning. Everything must be right from the "get-go" - no transitional time allowed (created). |

The topic of THIS THREAD has to do with the teaching of creationism.
I have presented evidence that supports creationism. I'm still waiting for a rebuttal of this evidence. |

These are assertions, not evidence. And a false dichotomy. Evolution and your variant of Creation are not the only options. |

Assertions? Then refute them. You didn't because you couldn't. |

I opened the first thread and it was total garbage!
You can't demonstrate your point so you throw up all these smoke screens. How moronic!
Yeah evolution is true even though there are no transitional forms from invertebrates to vertebrates. Just believe it. Why? Because evolution is true. And you people make fun of Christians for their faith!
Ah yes the incredible faith of the evolutionist. Blind chance is the alter you worship at.
Dream on pal... |
