There is some wisdom there. Being 59 it strikes me that efficiency should be the criteria...killing and eating one 210 lb 26 year old weight lifter would provide as much meat as 2-3 scrawny old grannies.

I don't know about the whole eating of pets thing. People here in Korea eat dog and even then it's a rare occurrence. You don't see cats hanging from wires in shops either, so I suppose flavor might be a reason for that.

Hypothetical scenario:
Which is better? Paying a few extra dollars to get transportation for 1 man and his 2 dobermans or rottweilers? Or 1 dead man and a pack of dobermans or rottweilers roaming the streets of a disaster area eating dead people/animals or attacking survivors and/or rescue workers? I would imagine the latter is more expense that then former.

Did you look up Bernd Brandes and uncover his fate? We can certainly kill two birds with one stone.

From this I gather you are not aware of the inspiration for that dark little number by Rammstein: http://herzeleid.com/en/lyrics/reise_reise/mein_teil

Mein Teil translates to 'my part' - but Teil is also slang for 'willy.' Don't you remember what happened to poor Brandes' willy?

At this point, I've lost track of the entendres and double entendres. Let's just clear it up now - how would you like to be eaten in your old age? From the top down or from the bottom up?

The thing is that the aged are mostly just gristle. What the situation calls for is a source of abundant high energy fatty meat that otherwise has no intrinsic value, so the obvious candidates for the pot are fat Western women.
