Is accidental dental covered by NHIC? Tried the website but couldn't find out . Any details would be greatly appreciated.

I've never heard of anyone accidentally gettting dental insurance. Wink

Seriously, accidents are not covered by NHP. However, if the acident happens at work, the employer is responsible for all costs.

I can just imagine it. Walking up the stairs and one of those idiotic slippers fly into your face knocking out your two front teeth. Implants cost
at least 2 million each.

With some of the caos I've seen erupt between classes it wouldn't surprise me.

Hey... I spent 10 days in the hospital and two weeks off work because of those idiotic slippers when I broke my clavicle a couple of years ago. The NHP covered 80% of the cost; and I went after my school board for the 20% deductable I had to pay. It took almost exactly a year to get the money out of them... but eventually, I did! The 'magic' words were - "Labor Board".
