Is accidental dental covered by NHIC? Tried the website but couldn't find out . Any details would be greatly appreciated. |

I've never heard of anyone accidentally gettting dental insurance.
Seriously, accidents are not covered by NHP. However, if the acident happens at work, the employer is responsible for all costs. |

I can just imagine it. Walking up the stairs and one of those idiotic slippers fly into your face knocking out your two front teeth. Implants cost
at least 2 million each.
With some of the caos I've seen erupt between classes it wouldn't surprise me. |

Hey... I spent 10 days in the hospital and two weeks off work because of those idiotic slippers when I broke my clavicle a couple of years ago. The NHP covered 80% of the cost; and I went after my school board for the 20% deductable I had to pay. It took almost exactly a year to get the money out of them... but eventually, I did! The 'magic' words were - "Labor Board". |
