I guess no topic titles in hangeul.

I came across 민족주의 on the zkorean translator under 'racist' (adj). Wondering if you can throw this out at the "Uri" crowd.

It seems like this concept wouldn't compute.

edit: Also doesn't have the "nieun" ending like most noun-phrase adjunct adjectives. That doesn't compute either.

인종차별주의자 is the word I use for racist.

민족주위 is sort of racist, but it has a different connotation.

민족주의자 is the noun form.

I assume the 자 in that first phrase you used is the "子"자, which would make it a noun. Any idea on what the adjective is?

민족주의 is an adjective, as far as I know.

I believe you can add 같은 to many words to make them adjectives.

민족주의 simply means "nationalism".

"주의" an "ism" 사회(society)+주의(ism)=사회주의 (socialism). Hope that helped.

Following along those lines, a 사회주의자 is a socialist

민족주의 is nationalism with an ethnic dimension, which is why it is the most likely word to be used for nationalism in Korea. Plain-jane nationalism is 국가주의.

It's pretty much similar to the Nazi concept of bermensch, a super people of one pure blood.
