Any word on when the won is suppose to go back up? This is ridiculous! I am hoping that one of you may have heard some economist ranting or something like that.....

My prediction: the won will go back to about 1,200, or 1,100 at best, by the end of 2009.

This is purely speculative, though. Ie., pulled out of my ***.

My guess is it will take about 6 to 8 months for the current mess to blow over.

Yes, that's as reliable as the other posts here, ie not at all

At first it was busy, and said CANNOT PREDICT NOW, then it said OUTLOOK GOOD. So, I'll go send money this Friday.

I read on Bloomberg ealrier this week that the won may hit 1400 per dollar within six months. It now looks like that might happen by the end of the day. Apparently, it did for a moment.

I just don't expect it to get better any time soon. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was 1500 by the end of the year.
