My prediction: the won will go back to about 1,200, or 1,100 at best, by the end of 2009.

My guess is it will take about 6 to 8 months for the current mess to blow over.

I read on Bloomberg ealrier this week that the won may hit 1400 per dollar within six months. It now looks like that might happen by the end of the day. Apparently, it did for a moment.
I just don't expect it to get better any time soon. I really wouldn't be surprised if it was 1500 by the end of the year. |
