Halloween is my favorite holiday. But it's not even recognized in Korea.
I have my old costumes but no where to trick or treat.
How are all of you spending your halloween day (and night). Are there places with trick or treating that I have yet to learn about? |

If you want to trick-or-treat in K-land: shave your head, dress in saffron-coloured robes, knock on peoples' doors and hold out a bowl... you'll probably get some rice. |

Some of the hagwons do Halloween, but I wouldn't expect to see it in public schools. You might see a little in the cities as they do some Halloween.
All the schools in my local area are going on a hiking trip on Halloween. |

All of the bars in Itaewon will be doing a big night for this both Friday and Saturday. Especially I would suggest the Wolfhound and Gecko's. The King's Tap in Sinchon is having a party. Not sure if it's on the Friday or Saturday night. The costumes that people come up with are always insane. My favorite is the Korean hiker costume of course. |

If your in MASAN.
There is a Halloween party at Uncle Tom's Bar in HapSeonDong.
Near the Bus Terminal.
HapSeongDong borders Changwon at PalYongDong. |

There was totally a pack of highschoolers trick-or-treating in my neighborhood (in Suwon) LAST weekend. There were scary masks and cat ears and everything . . . |

Saw a couple of guys in Itaewon Friday night.
One was dress in a nurses outfit, the other in a school girl get up.
They weren't the local trannies, these guys had some whiskers. |
