You could preface your article by saying that it is your opinion.
In my Opinion Americans have nothing on the Koreans when it comes to grandising thier own country. |

Americans have dissent, and quite a bit of it, when it comes to nationalism and its role in our society. |

Doesn't the very fact you posted this thread display your own insecurity?
Just a question. |

Maybe it does. Just maybe...
Anyway, the article points out obvious things. |

And if you read Korean newspapers, you'd realize Koreans do too. |

Seems like waste-of-time junk science to me. But maybe its my insecurity that makes me say that. |

No worries, it was one of the few times I didn't take a swipe. I can see how you might think it was though. |

Listened to an AFN radio DJ talking about this article earlier today. He declared the article to be "written by a bunch of nerds who've never even been to a sports game". I kind of have to agree. I've read a string of articles over the years linking "Go Team!" type behavior on all types of perceived "inferior" traits--- being less educated, being more violent, being less intelligent, etc... I can't help but get a mental image of a bunch of angry teenage nerds, all growed up now, but still bitter that the quarterback and the captain of the football team were both wayyyy more popular than them. |
