| Kicking can be broken down further; passing, shooting, dribbling, dead-ball scenarios. Then there's heading the ball. Being good in the 'air' is a highly sought skill. Then you've got all the bell and whistle stuff; dummying and trickery etc. If we applied the same reductionist thinking to baseball, we'd say it was nothing more than throwing and hitting, when I'm sure that there's much more than that going on. |

Can we just call it football (90% of all clubs have the word football in their names, so please try to follow international standards when referring to the most popular game in the world) Remember foot + ball = football.
I will admit that all know about baseball is that it is a game that derives directly from the British girls game of rounders.

Where I'm from it's called soccer by a lot of people. Football is Gaelic football. Normally I just go by context. If I'm talking to a brit, I'll say football for soccer.
If you don't know anything about baseball, you should stop talking about. Why look ignorant on purpose. |

When I was kid, I was a much better soccer player than baseball player. These days I follow soccer a lot more than baseball. I've even been to a World Cup qualifying game (Uruguay v. Argentina) and the famed Boca v. River Plate derby. |

What was the boca-river game like? when was that?
edit: also being old and still playing doesn't mean that a game has more skill, it just means less athleticism is required. But you were probably joking about that too. |

Are Korean agricultural practices something that you're knowledgeable on, or were these pics just taken out of general interest? If it's the former, then I may like to pick your brain about something for an upcoming assignment I'm working on as part of my ongoing MSc. |

Yes, they were all taken in Korea. Sorry, but I know pretty much nothing about Korean agricultural practices. Just what you see pics of is the extent of my knowledge. I just wanted to document a rice season. |
