Getting excited about this one. If I calculated right it should be on at about 1pm tomorrow afternoon.

Calzaghe has to be the favourite I would have thought. Can he cement his legacy as one of the greatest boxers of all time and retire undefeated?

I watched it on SBS Sports.

Well done, Joe!

Comfortable points win. Although Joe went down in the first round from a punch, which looked like a forearm shot from Roy.

Roy got a bad cut in the seventh.

Both guys look past their best, but Joe still has some gas left in the tank.

Joe's hands are so fragile, that he doesn't put any weight down on his shots, so relies on points wins. He was a hard puncher in the amateurs, and early in his pro career.

The 28 year old Joe would be the 36 year old Joe, much like a younger RJJ would beat the present version of Jones.

I wish Joe had gone to fight in America a few years ago. He should have broken from cautious Frank Warren some time before he did.

At both their primes Roy Jones would have finished Joe. It is sad that RJ is still fighting.. He needs to retire (he needed to a while ago).

Jones most impressive wins early in his career were against two great, very smart fighters who were also in their prime - James Toney and Bernard Hopkins.

He completely dominated Toney and won convincingly against Hopkins (though he didn't take too many chances against the "Executioner").

Some years back, Jones lost enough of his formerly great footwork that he would have a tough time beating Hopkins again.

I haven't seen the Jones-Calzaghe fight yet, but I also thought that Calzaghe was awarded a questionable decision against Hopkins.

I just watched the Calzaghe V Hopkins fight again and I can't see how Hopkins won any of the last seven rounds. It was a close fight but I still see Calzaghe winning by two points.

Mind you, I'd like to see Calzaghe V Hopkins 2, but would be nice to stage it at a neutral venue, but won't happen as money dictates.

It's so often difficult for European fighters to get fair decisions in an American's backyard, likewise also, for many fighters who come to Europe, notably Italy and Germany.
