Man I love dramas and I must say since I stumbled upon this show a few years back I've been hooked ever since. Now that there is ONE episode left I really hope they tie things up. I really DON'T want Vic to die or go to jail. Weird how you get attached to these characters after awhile, isn't it? Shawn Ryan is a sheer genius for creating this show. I know cop shows are a dime a dozen but I've never been really into them except when I heard some tv critic going on about how great this show is. I went home to Canada and bought the first season on DVD and that was it, I was hooked! The writing, acting, etc. is superb, never a dull episode. I've downloaded and tried several times to get into the show "Wire" but couldn't get past the first episode, really slow paced.
Anyway Shield fans watch this last episode and let's all give three cheers for Vic Mackey. I can't BELIEVE this was the same guy who used to be "The Commish", he really reinvented himself. |

The Wire is really worth another try. It is slow, but not as slow as the first ep makes it seem.
This season of the Shield has been a stunner, no doubt. The Confession Scene in the last episode was one of the most intense bits of acting I've seen on TV, ever. |

| I think the last episode comes out today or tomorrow. Really can't wait to see how this all turns out. I'm hoping Vic gets off scott free, but Ronnie looks like he might go down. |

Nice spoiler for those who may not have seen it, perfect one liner to ruin it for them.
Anyway I watched it last night and thought it was a very good last episode. Most things were tied up nicely. The acting was class A the whole way. I just can't believe it's over. What a run............ |
