So apparently I got evaluated by my students today and I didn't do so hot. I got a 3, with 1 being the best and 5 being the worst. So the POE had me write a letter explaining what I would do to improve my teaching methods.
Is this because I scored poorly or is this something everyone has to do at the end of a semester? More importantly what does this tell me about my job. |

That type of feedback has nothing based upon your teaching skills. There is no constructive feedback, nothing based upon what you mentioned. If I turned round and said "You scored 3 out of 5, you're a bad teacher so write me letter detailing what you would do to improve" that would be useless information.
