Yes, it's in my weight gainer. I drink a serving before and after my workout. It's alright as long as you drink tons of water. And I wouldn't use it for more than a few months in a row, depending on how much you're taking. Sorry, can't give you more info than that.

I cycle 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Currently on my off cycle. I did notice a difference after just 4 weeks.

It made me piss like a race horse, and it wasn't just because I was drinking a lot of water

all in all stuff like this is hugely over-used by the ameuter weight lifting crowd. I think its really only worth the money and time if you are really serious into weight lifting

I would just suggest checking out Mark Rippetoe (google him and look at his 5x5 starting strength program in particular) he is known for adding 30 pounds a year on most of the guys he trains. Do that on a regular basis and have a fairly decent diet and thats all you really need

I've used it a few times, and it does work. Usually I've been able to add five-ten pounds to every set on big lifts (e.g. squats) and two and a half-five pounds to smalll lifts (e.g. barbell curls) while keeping reps the same or, sometimes, a few more reps.

Great pumps too Very Happy

Ultimately though, it comes down to cost/benefit: It's safe and cheap. What have you got to lose?

Everytime I start working out again I wait for at least one month of steady working out before I touch the stuff. By doing this, I make sure I have hit a small plateau (sp?) before putting it in my system. I ALWAYS see a major difference after 2-3 weeks of using.

It's really simple science. It enables your body to pump longer and harder, which rips and tears your muscles just that much more. Great stuff!

if you were a serious weight lifter you wouldnt take significant time off, oh well, keep gulping the creatine

Do it. I gain like 5 pounds of water weight when I'm cycling it, and I get a real bloated face and chin, but when I cycle off, I've made measurable gains in strength and size. I do hate the bloat though.

It means anything to you, my legs aren't puny: I have a below parallel squat of 275 pounds and a 400 pound deadlift.

Now that I've done away with your ad hominum attack, let's get to the real issue: why is creatine for "pussies"?

It is probably the best gainer out there besides steroids. Creatine however, can not ever be compared to a steroid. Steroids will make you grow freakishly large in a very short time, but have all the side affects and legal issues. Creatine will not make you grow freakishly large, but it will make you see results when you look in the mirror, usually within six or seven days after first use. However, the results are not long lasting if you discontinue usage. it's good for getting a little bit bigger for a trip to the beach or something like that, but the results will decrease in a week or so after you stop using. It's short term, quick, but non lasting gainer.

WORST LOGIC EVER. (Are you a troll?)

Creatine is a very natural substance; in fact it is even used by "natural" bodybuilders. I don'[t even think you really know what "all natural" really means. Maybe you think "all natural" mean "no-supplements?" Anyways some enlightenment for you:

From Wikipedia:

Quote:
In humans, approximately half of stored creatine originates from food (mainly from fresh meat). Since vegetables do not contain creatine, vegetarians show lower levels of muscle creatine which, upon creatine supplementation, rise to a level higher than in meat-eaters.[6]

In humans, about half of the daily creatine is biosynthesized from three different amino acids - arginine, glycine, and methionine. The rest is taken in by alimentary sources. Ninety-five percent of creatine is later stored in the skeletal muscles.

Nothing about that sounds 'unnatural' and the IOC doesn't have any rules in place against creatine. Why? because it is a naturally occuring amino acid.

I take creatine once a day after each workout (and once during my off-days) and currently I squat 1 x 6 / 160 kg. Don't know what my max is. All in the course of 10 months (10 months ago I couldn't even squat 80 kg once). This is all in addition to a very good dietary regimen (high protein, high complex carbs, high calorie, low fat). So count me (along with CdnInKorea) as an exception to the "guys who just pump their guns."
